FAQs
How long is each therapy session?
Individual therapy sessions are usually 60 minutes. Sessions may be weekly, fortnightly or less frequent depending on your needs and the stage of therapy. This will be discussed during your initial assessment.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation by telephone or online. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what you are looking for, whether I may be able to help, and whether we feel comfortable working together.
What is the cost?
Self-funded individual therapy sessions are £120 for 60 minutes.
I also work with a number of health insurance providers, including Aviva, WPA, Vitality, AXA and Bupa. Fees funded through insurance companies or organisations may vary depending on the agreement in place.
Psychological consultation and professional work are priced separately depending on the nature of the work.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full session fee.
Payment is requested before the appointment and can be made by bank transfer.
Where do sessions take place?
Face-to-face appointments are available in at the Bay Therapy Centre, Lady Bay, Nottingham, alongside online therapy appointments for clients who prefer to meet remotely.
Do you work with adults and young people?
Yes. I work with adolescents and adults across a range of psychological difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, relationships, self-worth and neurodivergence.
